Enhancing the Impacts of Climate Change Research on Policy and Practice

We are currently seeking to appoint a research officer to engage with, and to enhance the impact of, our social science research on climate change.
Affiliated to the ESRC Centre for Climate Change Economics and Policy (CCCEP) at the University of Leeds, you will be expected to engage with current and future research (including through your own independent research) and to facilitate engagements and communication with academic networks and user groups to enhance the value and strengthen the impact of that research. You will also be expected to contribute to a wider project that seeks to assess and evaluate the impacts of social science research on policy and practice. There will also be opportunities to contribute to wider research and teaching initiatives across the School and Faculty.
We are seeking candidates with experience of both conducting social science research and of science communication, network building and stakeholder engagement. You should have a PhD in a relevant area (or equivalent research experience) and should have demonstrable potential to strengthen the impacts of social science research on policy and practice.
It is expected that the post will be full time, however we are open to flexible working arrangements including job share.
