Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation/Wellcome Trust Diabetes And Inflammation Laboratory

We wish to appoint a Research Nurse to join the Cambridge BioResource (http://www.cambridgebioresource.org.uk) team. The aim of the Cambridge BioResource is to establish a resource of healthy volunteers from the Cambridge area who are willing to be approached and invited to participate in a wide variety of local medical research studies, including donation of blood samples for genotyping. The successful applicant will assist the BioResource team in extending the recruitment of local volunteers to the project. This is a full-time post although applications will be considered from applicants wishing to work part-time.

As a member of the Cambridge BioResource recruitment team, your duties will include coordinating recruitment events and the collection of blood and saliva samples and maintaining clinical databases. Applicants should be registered with the NMC, have 2 years post qualification experience and have a good understanding of databases.
