Temporary contract for 2 years

Based in Milton Keynes

An excellent research opportunity is available within the Technology Management Research Group for a post-doctoral candidate to investigate healthcare technology adoption within the NHS.

You will be a key member of the team working on a two year research project “NHS Adoption of NHS-Developed technologies”, funded by the Service Delivery Organisation of the National Institute for Health Research. The project will investigate whether healthcare technologies developed within the NHS have inherently different adoption characteristics to those developed outside the NHS. The broad aim of the research is to inform and support NHS policy and practice around adoption of new healthcare technologies.

You will have a PhD degree in a relevant area, with an understanding and experience of at least one of the following: the NHS or other public sector organizations; technology transfer, innovation policy; and the healthcare technology industry.
