MSc in Clinical Neuroscience
The Institute of Psychiatry is offering a new programme in Clinical Neuroscience which provides a deep and detailed understanding of clinical neurology. The emphasis on translation from basic science to clinical practice is innovative and highly relevant to current practitioners.
The course will help practitioners and graduates gain a deep understanding of neurology and the physical basis of neurological diseases in order to:
- Develop a detailed understanding of the anatomical, physiological and pathological basis of symptoms and signs of neurological disorders
- Systematically integrate advances in genetics, molecular neuroscience, electrophysiology and neuroimaging into clinical practice
- Work independently within a multidisciplinary environment
- Work at an advanced level to develop and sustain evidence-based practice
- Appraise, conduct and critically evaluate clinical research
There are two bursaries available for this programme for exceptional students attending this course, amounting to £2,500 each.
